Joe grew up in Essex and trained with the Harlow Ballet Association, the Royal Ballet Associate program, and later at Elmhurst School for Dance. After graduating, he worked with several companies, including The English National Ballet, the National Ballet of Ireland, Belinda King Creative Productions, and Gandini Juggling. He later trained at Drama Centre, where he graduated in 2021. Theatre credits while training include Don Juan in The Last Days of Don Juan Tonario, Herr Freder in Pains of Youth, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Chorus, and Butcher in This Restless House. 
 
Theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet, Cerano, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, FOURXFOUR, Appassionata, Viva Italia, AL4N TUR1NG at the Kings Head Theatre, Riverside Studios and The Other Palace. AA Milne in Winnie the Pooh with Half Term Productions.
